I'm a mature bass player, looking for musicians who want to gig. Start by doing covers and then do originals, eventually recording a quality CD. I'm looking for people with Drive to get this done. Also people who can compromise, we may not do every song everyone wants to do or go exactly in the direction you may want, or I want, but we can become a tight gigging band doing . Can't promise when we'll get out, that will depend on everyones’ commitment. There are plenty of places to play and make some money, we won't be a household name or get rich, but at least being able to suppliment our income would be nice. Musicians spend a lot of time and money on their craft and deserve something for it. I don't care what covers we do but would prefer to avoid the same songs everyone is doing.. I know all the arguments about doing covers and being a ‘bar band’, but eventually we can do, even if just some, originals and it’s also a great way for a band to cut it’s teeth. I like playing Rock and that seems to be where most of the gigs are. But I would prefer to have other genres represented. You can input any genre in rock and make it work.
